I’m an xx-year young woman, living in Leuven (Louvain), Belgium, who is interested in a wide range of things (reading, philosophy, art, … to name only a few). For some 20 years I was a teacher, but then I decided to change my life drastically. So I quit working and started studying; and now, after nine years I am proud I may call myself Master in Art History, Master in Archaeology and Master in Philosophy. The next step in my ‘new’ life will be a PhD in Archaeology; this I will hopefully bring to a good end in October 2013. So I will tell you about that later.
Studying made me realize even more how lucky I am that I can live my life the way I do. Most people are so busy with their lives that they don’t seem to be able to take the time to ponder about life and all its wonders. I try to, but it is not always easy. This blog will deal mainly with books, but once in a while there will be a post (I hope) about other things. And that’s why this blog is called The Books of Life!
